Description:   Mended from many fragments; incomplete. Vertical band handle broken away.
Thick watch-shaped body, tending to double convex.
Long, pointed nozzle, rounded on top.
On the right side of the body, a small, solid dolphin-shaped knob; on the left side, a similar knob, cornucopia-shaped.
Base rising in center; resembling low ring foot.
Metallic glaze, peeled in part; over all.
Attic clay.
Type XI (Agora version) of Corinth collection, type 43A of Agora collection.
ADDENDA Lamps L 551 to L 559 found together. A number of fragmentary lamps from the same pithos have been boxed separately, along with the finer sherds. See also pottery 589-630.
Strongly resembling in shape, clay, glaze, knobs on sides, etc., the mold made lamps of type XVIII, found with it. See L 551-553.
