It is of the lily type, with rim and bowl blending into each other, heavy lip with striations, long stem socket with large hole, and heavy keel continuing under bowl and up front, where it becomes a decorative element. Impressed decoration under lip, seal on left side of stem socket. Orange clay, red slip. Cf. MC 1298. | |
