Title:   Neck Amphora

Description:   Put together from many fragments; a bit of the lip missing, and numerous fragments from the body wall. Heavy flaring lip.
Reserved band around body, just below shoulder, with three stripes. The handles, decorated with horizontal stripes, and the edge of the lip, reserved as well as the shoulder band. The inside of the lip painted black for ca. 0.02m.
Pinkish-buff clay with a few bits. Good, firm glaze, peeling only where overfired. On one side, a mark of contact from the kiln.
