Title:   Storage Amphora with Dipinti

Description:   Intact except for small hole in one side and horned tips of handles. Elongated double convex body; the bottom finished with a pointed toe; the upper part inset slightly from the lower, tapers above to a rolled lip. Double rolled horned handles, extending from just below lip to just above junction of upper and lower bodies.
Elaborate decoration and dipinti in red: broad horizontal band at junction of upper and lower bodies; another on upper body, above its middle. Resting on this line, on one side, a large zeta; on the other side, epsilon. Beneath one handle a cross and loops (trademark?); beneath the other: <graphic>
Gritty brown clay. Remains of light slip.
