Title:   Black Glaze Mortar: Corinthian

Description:   Rather more than half the circumference of rim and walls preserved, and one non-joining rim fragment. Base and bottom broken away. Shallow open heavy-walled basin with thick collar rim and projecting open-topped half-round spout.
Fairly fine light pinkish-buff clay; smooth buff surface. Black grits added as roughening on floor.
Context:   Pocket in bedrock, 500-450 B.C.
