Description:   Mended from many fragments; part of the foot missing, and much from the walls, together with the single vertical handle (attachments, lip to shoulder, preserved). Rim out-curving, thickened at top. Round mouth. The neck, inside and out, the top of the ring foot and a band round the shoulder, painted in black glaze; the remainder of the pot unglazed save for traces round the lower handle attachment.
Thin fabric, fine polished surface (possibly a thin glaze wash?).
