Title:   Black Glaze Stemmed Thymiaterion
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Broken at both ends. A hollow tube with a kind of flaring collar around it, formed apparently of six leaf-like projections. A part of original edge of collar preserved. Three holes punched in collar in alternate leaves; in two of them some kind of black deposit, in the third a bit of clay rod apparently set into black deposit which probably represents something used as glue. Tube seems to continue below collar.
Pinkish-buff clay. Covered with black glaze except for collar and inside of tube.
ADDENDA A second fragment, joining above, added from sherds. It gives the continuation of the tube, with a second collar, apperently decorated like the first. P.H. 0.13. The tube tapers slightly towards the second collar.
