Title:   Black Figure Lekythos Fragments

Description:   Three joining and one non-joining fragment. Both pieces preserve parts of the shoulder and upper wall. Fragment b) is burned.
On shoulder, rays with a band of short strokes around the neck. Around the top of the wall is a simple maeander. On the wall are parts of two cloaked figures moving right toward a donkey(?). Ivy branches in the field. The wall is white ground. Purple for fillets and bands on garment.
ADDENDA Fragment b) does not belong.
Context:   Tholos trench V, room E, from burning in plundered trench of south wall of court.
