Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Mended from four fragments; another small bit from the shoulder does not join; the neck broken off at the point of attachment. Pieces missing from the shoulder and a large fragment from the side which included the head of the youth and the middle part of the body of the warrior to the left. The scene depicts two warriors charging and two youths looking on. Incision for interior details, including the plumes of the high crested helmets. Added red for bands around the helmets and for bands and dots on the shields and corselets and for the baldricks. On the shoulder of the vase, a row of short strokes around the base of the neck; outside, ivy pattern, interlaced.
