Title:   Black Glaze Bolsal Fragment: Stamped

Description:   Most of the foot and floor preserved. Lightly moulded base ring; fine ridge on lower wall. Stamped decoration on floor, set off by concentric grooves: a small circle of eggs, then linked palmettes, then a circle of eggs and an outer circle of linked palmettes. The underside reserved and washed with miltos; at the center a dot with two small glaze circles around; then a broad black band set off by narrow grooves and ridges.
Good black glaze.
