Title:   Vessel Fragments

Description:   Two non-contiguous fragments, one from the thickened and slightly projecting rim. Deep, rather narrow body, perhaps rounded at the bottom; horizontal rolled handles below the rim with lugs beside their junctions with the body.
Coarse clay, pinkish with gray core; decoration of horizontal and vertical glaze bands, forming squares.
ADDENDA Extremely heavy fabric, lumpy and poorly made; surfaces gray as if from burning.
