Title:   Black Glaze Bowl: Type B and Stamped

Description:   Piece of side missing and chips; restored in plaster. High straight ring foot; wall rounded below, vertical above, with rounded lip slightly projecting. Stamped at center of floor, a cluster of ovules, then a ring of ovules between grooves, and resting on the outer grooves, six pairs of palmettes, one set above the other. Reserved band at junction of foot and wall; resting surface reserved, and space inside foot. At the center of the space, a small rough circle in thin glaze; near the outer edge, another brown circle, and then a broad black band.
Context:   "Foundry Pit", N-S cut on 50m. line, area of Stoa, layer VII, with slag. Second quarter of 4th. c. B.C.
