Description:   Fragmentary; most of the wall, bottom and rim missing with much of the vertical handle and one of the horizontal handles (one attachment preserved). Restored in plaster. Round-bodied pot with very short neck and fairly wide round mouth. Out-turned lip with a groove around its upper face. Broad triple-ridged vertical handle from rim, with two projections at attachment. Two rolled horizontal handles rising vertically from shoulder. Wheel run groove around neck, and another around shoulder.
Coarse reddish-brown clay, covered with a thin glaze wash which has fired a metallic gray.
Context:   "Foundary Pit", N-S cut on 50m. line, area of Stoa, layer VII, with slag. Second quarter of 4th. c. B.C. , ca. 375-350 B.C.
