Title:   Lid: West Slope

Description:   The lower walls broken away, and chips missing from keel. Low domed top with groove, surrounding a central depression; broad flange, the outer edge grooved and two grooves around top just above flange. High walls approximately straight.
Decoration in buff clay: dolphins above wave pattern around top, then two bands. Ivy wreath on top of keel, garlands on walls. The grooves colored pink.
Pinkish-buff clay; spotty black glaze inside and out; the top fired red.
Context:   East of Klepsydra, black earth at base of cliff, upper layer west of stones = oinochoe deposit.
