Title:   Biconical Jar: Red Burnished
ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Στιλβωτό αμφικωνικό αγγείο με ίχνη λευκής βαφής 3200 - 2800 π.Χ.

Description:   Mended from several pieces; small part of lip and upper wall missing. Double conical shape, much as P 14871 (ΟΑ 1034), but less angular and rather less carefully made. On either side, just below the mouth, a rectangular ledge lug, pierced twice vertically; corresponding piercings in foot below.
Coarse reddish clay, gray at core; red burnished slip, somewhat worn but preserving clear traces of striped decoration.
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Νεολιθικό αμφικωνικό στιλβωτό αγγείο. Αποτελείται από αρκετά τμήματα. Λείπουν μικρά θραύσματα από το χείλος και το άνω τμήμα του σώματος.
