Description: | Base fragment from large pot; less than half the circumference preserved. Broad conical shape, moulded on the outside, which is decorated in brownish-purple paint with a ring around the top of the base and an hourglass pattern around the bottom. Coarse clay, raspberry pink at the core, buff near the surface, covered with a finer buff slip. Paint dull and somewhat peeled. | |
