Description: | Handles missing; outer part of doubled-over lip chipped away in part. Moulded conical foot; shallow rounded lower body; upper wall flaring to lip. On the floor inside, four linked palmettes surrounded by a rouletted band. Excellent black glaze; a scraped groove around the foot; the resting surface reserved, and marked with a sharp narrow groove. ADDENDA Most of outer face of rim and part of one handle added. | |
