Description:   Broken all around; fragment from rounded shoulder of closed pot. Around the shoulder, a broad band of added white, bordered at top and bottom by a narrow red band; traces of decoration in red over the white band.
Thin gray fabric, apparently not wheelmade.
ADDENDA Other fragments added from sherds make up to a plump trefoil oinochoe. Much of body and front of lip missing, but profile complete. High straight ring foot; rolled handle from lip. Gray cooking-ware fabric. The painted band which surrounds the shoulder has a distinctive shape, the point at the center front, rising to just below the lip, the 'strings' tieing the 'headband' beneath the handle.
Context:   Well, opening at south and S.W., context ca. 425-400 B.C., middle fill.
