Title:   Pyxis with Lid Fragments

Description:   A fragment of the pyxis preserved, mended from three pieces; preserves profile to within foot; one small piece of the rim remains. Ring foot; rounded wall; flanged rim pierced by tie holes. Above foot, glaze bands and a zone of zigzag. Floor and bottom were decorated; bands remain. On the lid fragment, bands, and dot row at edge.
Black to red glaze, somewhat peeled.
Context:   Sacrificial Pit VI = Grave 18, upper filling, Geometric.
