Title:   Black Glaze Pyxis: Type C

Description:   Mended from several pieces; about half preserved. Concave side wall with rim inset to take lid; broad curving flange at bottom, with moulded ridge underneath it. Ring foot set well in.
Black glaze much worn over all, except on resting surface of foot and on bottom, where there are alternating glazed and reserved bands.
Context:   Green sandy fill clearing over floor of refuse pit.
