Title:   Vessel Fragments with Glaze Decoration
Category:   Pottery
Description:   a) Mended from several pieces; part of broad rounded shoulder, short wide neck, slightly concave, and projecting lip, flat on top, preserved. Perhaps from an amphora such as P 15238 (ΕΕ 242), but somewhat smaller.
Glaze on neck, inside and out, brownish, worn; on top of lip, a band at the edge, and a row of dots. Scale pattern on shoulder, the glaze fired red, and worn on the upper part. Yellow-buff to gray clay, with very small red bits.
b) Non-joining handle fragment from Box 13.
Context:   Mycenaean chamber tomb; ash fill near center of chamber just above floor; one fragment from central part of west ledge.
