Title:   Black Figure Amphora Fragment

Description:   From a closed pot, amphora; fragment from top of wall. Part of lotus and palmette band at base of neck preserved; below, head of a bearded figure, right, and shoulder of another figure, also right, in front, draped and bearing a quiver. Careful incision; red for beard and for taenia around top of quiver. A band of small white dots around the short sleeve of the figure at the right; two stripes of similar dots on the quiver. Very small raised dots on the drapery of the left-hand figure.
Context:   Early sand fill in drain.
