Description: | Broken top and bottom. The head of a youth, wearing a cap, against the neck of a lekythos. Faint traces of red glaze on inside and outside of neck; remains of white slip on the head, and of yellow paint on the front part of the hair and red toward the back. Pinkish-buff clay, pink at core. The vase can never have been intended for any practical purpose since the neck is filled up solid behind the boy's head. | |
