Description:   Fragment broken all around, from upper wall of convex-bodied vase. The wall at the top turns inward to form a concave cover(?) over the pot, part of which is preserved. A broad blunt spout is let into the wall just below the top.
Fine reddish-buff micaceous clay of soft texture. A few traces of dull black glaze on the cover. Interior unglazed; no traces of glaze on exterior.
ADDENDA The "concave cover": "This has a rim projecting a short way in. See P 26308 (Σ 2960), similar, but with the spout at top of wall."
