Title:   Black Figure Oinochoe Fragment

Description:   Single fragment, broken all around from lower part of small closed pot preserving bottom of figured scene and part of black wall below. At right, the edge of the vertical border: two lines and a row of dots. Red ground-line below. At left, a draped figure, standing right on a sort of base(?) stretches out both arms toward a large altar (volute and ovolo) on which a fire burns. Beyond the altar, a column. An uncertain object, narrow, not quite vertical, appears to rise from the altar.
White (faded) for the figure's arms, and for stripes and dots on drapery, altar, pillar and object.
