Description: | A few fragments missing from wall, shoulder and neck; restored in plaster. Low flaring ring foot; squat body forming continuous curve with shoulder and neck. Rounded flaring lip, undercut beneath. Handles from middle of neck to top of shoulder. Pinkish-buff clay; black glaze with metallic lustre, much peeled in places. Two narrow bands of added purple just below handles; a wider band inside neck just below lip. Bottom unglazed. | |
