Description:   Fragments from body and handle missing; restored in plaster. Same shape as P 16058, P 16059 (ΓΓ 740, ΓΓ 741), but smaller. Short spout rising vertically; flaring lip rounded on outer face.
Coarse reddish-brown clay fired gray in part. Brownish-red glaze-paint, fired black where clay is gray, on outside of lip and foot, in wide band below shoulder, and narrow band just below middle of body.
ADDENDA P 16058: Fat body with flaring wall on flaring ring foot. Body completely covered with low convex top. From top near shoulder rises a spout. A vertical arching handle is attached to top just behind spout and to shoulder at point opposite to the spout.
Context:   Well, containers 10-15, context ca. 490-450 B.C.
