Title:   Mushroom Jug

Description:   Small piece of wall missing; restored in plaster. Ring foot; flaring lower wall joining the dome-shaped upper wall at an acute angle. Short neck; round mouth with thickened lip rounded on the outside. Doubled handle, rising from the lip and attached to the wall above the shoulder.
Scratched on the shoulder a little to the left of the front: <graphic>
Red glaze on the neck inside and out, for a broad band at the shoulder, and for three pairs of blobs on the handle; otherwise unglazed.
Context:   Well, middle fill, containers 11-25.
