Title:   Aryballos Fragment

Description:   Handle, part of shoulder, and most of mouth preserved of aryballoid jug with rounded body, narrow neck, round projecting rim and vertical band handle, from rim to shoulder. Raised ring around base of neck.
Brownish-buff clay. Dull black glaze, mostly peeled, over all; traces of purple bands on upper face of rim, around neck, and around body below handle attachment.
Context:   Well, 7th. c., below east part of Odeion Cavea.
