Title:   Guttus with Molded Decoration: Gray Ware

Description:   Missing fragments, including tip of spout, restored; also handle, on the analogy of another similar piece. High ring foot, moulded; squat rounded body, the upper half (made in a Megarian bowl mould?) covered with overlapping leaf pattern. Straight neck and wide round mouth, the rim moulded, and decorated with cable pattern and egg pattern in relief. A strainer at the bottom of the neck. Gray clay and black glaze, somewhat worn and peeled.
Context:   Cistern, 6th.-1st c. B.C. fill.
