Description: | Fragment of body and chips from lip missing. Lower part of body made in mold for miniature Megarian bowl. Rounded base with rosette at center; then imbricated leaves. Above, flying birds; then ovules. On the shoulder, ivy wreath, the stems incised, the leaves in added clay, the berries groups of dots in white. Handle knotted, with shouldering, this decorated with alternating dots of white and clay color. The mouth round, the lip spreading; a groove around its upper face. Metallic black glaze, somewhat worn. | |
