Description: | Rim fragment from a large Sigillata plate with vertical rim. In applied relief, a small dolphin, right. Buff clay; dull red glaze somewhat peeled. ADDENDA Fragments added from sherds give more of the rim, and part of the floor, with start of foot. Relief decoration: Eros, carrying a cornucopia(?), left; and a second dolphin. On the floor, incised concentric circles, a rouletted band between the outer pair. | |
