Title:   Amphora Fragment with Dipinto

Description:   A single large fragment preserves the neck and shoulder, with one handle and the stubs of the other. Tall lightly wheel-ridged neck; rolled rim; sloping shoulder. Handles from well below rim to top of shoulder, just below junction with neck.
Pale buff clay and slip.
Notes:   Previously North Basement-Jar Fragments, Block VIII (Late 1st.-2nd. c. A.D.).
