Description:   Mended from several pieces; part of the rim and sides missing; a hole through the bottom, from which something has been broken away: the base of the pot, or the attachment to something else? Round-bodied pot with lightly indicated shoulder angle, short wide neck and neat out-turned rim, flat on top. At the break on the shoulder at one point is a slight projection, possibly a trace of a vertical handle attachment.
Carefully made of fine pinkish-buff clay, the surface polished. Traces of dilute glaze wash on the inside of the neck, and on the bottom of miltos.
Context:   N-S Trench VI, Late Roman fill.
