Lid from a very small lekanis; downturned edge; stemmed knob with disk top, a small conical depression at its center, and the edge turned up. On the disk top, glazed bands; around the rim, running dog. On the lid, female head, kerchiefed and with earring, right; then a seated sphinx; and part of another winged figure. Glaze dull with metallic splotches; no relief contour. | |
