Title:   Black Glaze Cup Kantharos: West Slope

Description:   The base and most of both handles restored. High swung cup handles rising above the rim and sharply inturned. Flaring lip with profiled overhang. Around the lower body a scraped groove; around the upper wall, decoration in thinned clay paint: on either side, three dolphins, above, a garland.
Excellent black glaze, over outside only; the inside was never glazed.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Grave in House N, room 4 (= Pyre 7).
Handling:   Not to be picked up by resotred handle or base.
