Title:   Moldmade Bowl

Description:   Mended from many pieces; about half the rim missing. Restored in plaster. Medallion, small head of Athena Parthenos, facing. Around the medallion a narrow cable ring, from which rises a zone of imbricated leaves, very small at the bottom and increasing in size toward the top, the last row being large and palmette-like, with curving petals. In the figured zone, pairs of goats rampant; wreaths between. In the field below, Erotes and birds; masks above. Upper zone, on a fine dotted line, a sizable guilloche; above it another dotted line topped by a running spiral.
Metallic glaze, chocolate brown to reddish; miltos prominent in the groove under the rim.
