Title:   Black Glaze Plate with Rouletting: Stamped

Description:   Mended from several pieces; fragments from rim and floor missing. Substantial plate on high profiled ring foot with broad resting surface; flat floor with low upturned rim. Band of rouletting on floor with small stamp (palmette?) in center.
Firm dull black glaze, somewhat worn, inside and out; the resting surface and the space inside the foot reserved, but with a large blob run over.
ADDENDA The small stamp in the center could also be a centering mark (if part mould-formed) [JWH]
