Title:   Skyphos

Description:   Four fragments of the rim, of which one does not join, and one handle of a goblet with horizontal rolled handles and very slightly flared rim. The handle zone reserved and decorated to each side apparently with a latticed zone bordered by triple verticals at each side at the center, and a set of seven compass-drawn concentric circles, dotted at the middle, to each side. A horizontal line below the glazed lip; a glaze stripe with hanging tails on the outer face of the handle, and hanging tails from its attachments. The inside glazed, with a reserved line at the lip.
Buff clay, thick solid dullish black glaze, in places slightly metallic.
Context:   Geometric Grave; funeral pyre.
