Title:   Louterion Fragment with Relief Decoration
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Mortar or basin with flat lip, ring base. On the top of the heavy lip are two bands in low relief: an inner of hook-spirals, an outer of a laurel(?) wreath, with bunches of berries between the leaves. On the bottom of the basin, next to the break, another band of hook-spirals. Broken in antiquity and mended with lead clamps.
Red clay, containing much coarse grit and broken tiles; pale buff slip on the outside and remains of this slip on the rim.
Context:   Uncertain context. Disturbed area over stoa (surface of pit A).
