Title:   Red Figure Stemless Cup Fragment

Description:   Fragment from center of cup only preserved. Upper part of base horizontally grooved; lower part projecting, profiled; underside decorated with concentric bands of glaze.
Female figure seated, right; head and shoulders, left arm, and legs below knees, missing; right arm hangs at side. Thin voluminous drapery with swirl of fine relief lines. Figure seated on a pile of rocks?
Attic clay; lustrous black glaze; behind the figure the glaze of the background is somewhat mottled with red.
