Title:   Three-Handled Jar Fragments

Description:   a) Half of mouth, small part of shoulder. Flattish projecting rim, thick short neck tapering slightly at base.
b) Wall fragment with attachment of handle at greatest circumference. Pronounced inward curve immediately below. Mouth and neck glazed inside and out. Small part of decoration on shoulder preserved; above three wide bands, a large ivy leaf(?) the stem springing from the handle attachment.
Pink clay, coarse and porous; cream slip, dull black paint. Surface badly damaged, fabric flaky.
Notes:   Specific date and level of provenience not recorded.
Context:   Mycenaean chamber tomb at north side of Temple of Ares. Pot #1.
