Title:   Plastic Attachment: Chariot
Category:   Pottery
Description:   One edge preserved, and a little of the smooth-finished back surface. The thickness decreases from the edge inwards. A vent hole(?) ca. 0.007m. in diameter, runs through the piece lengthwise, a little in from the edge. Decoration on the front, along the edge, running spiral with dot centers; a band outside and two inside. Inside these bands, black glaze. A sizable protuberance rises from the surface; beside it, a trace of a second, broken away. On the edge, linked dotted diamond pattern bordered by bands. The piece was made by folding the clay over a stick(?) which was later removed to provide the vent hole.
Pinkish-buff clay; glaze dull but fairly firm; worn off on the end of the projection, which may not be complete.
