Title:   Plate Fragment: Cooking Ware

Description:   Two joining fragments from outer edge of flat plate with low upturned rim. Within the rim is a narrow channel, lower than the interior surface of the plate and separated from it by a wall that rises to a height of 0.03m. or approximately twice that of the rim itself. Around the underside of the floor is a shallow groove corresponding to a position of the inner wall above.
Reddish-brown cooking ware fabric, gritty to the touch; many mica specks. Faint marks, like burnishing, on interior of floor, radiating from center.
