ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Τριφυλλόστομη οινοχόη με παράσταση λιονταριού με τη λεία του 700 π.Χ. περίπου

Description:   Handle missing; otherwise intact. Flat-bottomed oinochoe; high shoulder; tall neck tapering towards top; trefoil mouth. The bottom unglazed; narrow bands around the body to above the shoulder curve; around the shoulder a band of dotted zigzag. On the neck a broad panel framed by narrow bands and, to either side, a hatched band. In the panel, a lion, right, carrying his victim (human or animal?) in his jaws. The lion in silhouette; the space for the great round eye reserved and dotted. Filling ornaments: hatched triangles and butterflies. Crossed stripes on the stump of the rolled handle.
Buff clay; glaze chocolate brown to red.
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Οινοχοϊσκη με επίπεδη βάση και υψηλό λαιμό. Λείπει η λαβή. Στο σώμα φέρει επάλληλες διακοσμητικές ταινίες. Στο λαιμό διακρίνεται μετόπη με παράσταση λέοντος που καταβροχθίζει το θύμα του.
