Title:   Red Figure Bell Krater Fragment

Description:   Upper part of a bell krater of the Falaief-type; mended from many pieces. Much of the high flaring rim preserved, and of the interior collar, pierced next to the rim with a ring of small holes. Plain rolled lip for collar and rim. Moulded ring at junction of rim and shoulder.
Good black glaze, chipped inside. Neck and molded ridge outside glazed. Upper wall reserved, decorated on shoulder with a wreath of ivy leaves and berries painted in black glaze, somewhat peeled.
Orange-buff clay; good fabric.
