Description: | Mended from three pieces; small piece of foot missing. Low flaring mouth; no ring at junction with foot. On shoulder, rays and lotus buds, the stalks skipping two. On wall, two rows of inscribed feather-like palmettes, curving out from above and below a chain; between them, white petals. The hearts of the palmettes red, with white dots around. Below, a red band. For other such lekythoi, cf. Haspels (1936), pp. 76, 93, and Appendix Xbis, δ Class of Athens 581.
