Title:		Red Figure Amphora Fragments

Description:		Several joining fragments from wall and shoulder preserve the upper part of a youth to left, with chlamys, petasos and staff. Laurel wreath above. Other fragments give part of a large wing, some plain pieces from the wall, and a little of the tongue pattern around the handle attachment. Glaze fired red to black. No relief contour. Oedipus and the Sphinx? Or Youth, Nike? ADDENDA Mykonos Painter [JDB, letter 25 January 1955].
Context:		Below lowest working floor of Square Building in S.W. corner of north extension of Stoa, "depressed corridor" to south of Square Building Stylobate. Context late 5th. to late 4th. c. B.C.
