Description: | Rim fragment. Nearly vertical rim with a heavy rolled lip; the wall inset below the rim. On the reserved band below the lip, a band of horizontal palmettes, framed and linked; a pair of drops falling from the link. Clay slightly grayed; perhaps burned. Excellent glaze. Careful work. Very likely from a red-figured vase. | |
