Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Much missing from upper wall and shoulder.
Cf. P 24316 (ΣΑ 2526): This is the characteristic general type for the large proportion of the lekythoi from this group. Bell mouth with variations in height and spread; lip usually reserved, occasionally glazed. Disk foot of varying thickness; below picture either one or two reserved lines. Added colors more or less well preserved. Only substantial variations are noted in the following descriptions.
Shoulder: strokes above rays.
Scene: Achilles and Ajax gaming. Two warriors crouching, Athena between; to either side, bearded man approaching, he at left carrying a drinking horn.
